Tracy’s Kids is a non-profit organization committed to providing art therapy to children battling cancer. Tracy Councill founded the program at Georgetown University Hospital in 1991 and the program has since grown to include 7 Pediatric Oncology Units throughout the United States including programs in Baltimore, New York City, San Antonio, and Northern Virginia. Tracy’s Kids is helping patients cope with emotional stress and trauma of cancer and its treatment, through art.
One of the things we love doing most is giving back. Last week Tracy’s Kids hosted an event to help raise money for art supplies and funding the programs that Tracy’s kids provide. We were glad to donate mats that featured kids art. We love how they turned out and were honored to be part of such a wonderful organization.
