Workout motivation can be something that is so hard to keep during the year. Right about now your motivation is fading and you are sliding back into bad habits. We are here to help you fix that. We will give you that added incentive to keep working towards your fitness goals. We want you to be fit and healthy! Start by realizing even adding a few minutes of exercise each day will lead to a slimmer waist and a healthier you. Try remembering that you can do anything for a minute! You might give our walk to run plan a try to add a little exercise to your routine everyday. By the end you will be running towards your fitness goals.
Getting tired of the same old workout day after day? Repetition can become boring which can lead to you skipping your routine workouts. Try changing things up a few days a week with some cardio or even some of the new styles of yoga that are appearing on the scene. Anything to change things up and keep it interesting! Remember to train insane or stay the same! A once a week high intensity or insane workout can really motivate you to do your best.
You can step out of your comfort zone and join a group workout as well. Having workout partners can really keep you motivated and accountable. If you live near Santa Monica, try joining in on ROGA (run and yoga). It is a fun workout that starts with a short run and ends with a great yoga session. ROGA is offered on the Santa Monica Pier on Saturdays (click here for more info), and if you stop by this summer you *just* might catch a glimpse of some of our hot, new custom Yogamatic mats. Don’t live in Santa Monica? Look for a workout group to join in your area. Remember life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
Think you don’t have enough energy to workout? Remember that any exercise at all will give you a boost of energy. So start small and work your way up. You will gain energy, stamina, and workout motivation! You can do this! Set some goals for yourself to help stay on track. A workout plan with the number of days or amount of time per week is a great starting point. Anything to keep yourself from saying “I don’t have time to workout”. You can find time in your day to stay healthy and active! Remember all problems are illusions of the mind. Try our workout motivation tips to help you stay on track though out the year. You might even print some of the images above and keep them around your home or at the gym. They will be there to remind you to stay on track with your fitness goals.
